Our Mission

As one of the many plastic free communities within the UK, we aim to work with local businesses, schools, community groups and local councils to reduce our dependence on unnecessary single use plastic, raising awareness of the need to change habits to support a healthier and more sustainable future.

Did you know?

In March 2022, Sleaford was officially accredited with Plastic Free Status. This doesn't mean that there is no single use plastic in the town but it does mean that many of our businesses and local organisations are working hard to reduce their impact.
